Electrical Additions in Fort Mill, SC — Outlets, Circuits, Fans & More

Sometimes your home just needs a little more. More outlets in the right spots. A dedicated circuit for a new appliance. A ceiling fan where there wasn’t one before. Smart switches that actually make daily life easier. These are the kinds of additions that seem small but make a real difference — and that’s exactly what we do at Upgrade Electric.

Built on Trust. Wired With Pride.

I started Upgrade Electric because homeowners around Fort Mill deserved better than overpriced work from people who treat small jobs like an afterthought. Every job matters to me — whether it’s a full panel replacement or a couple of new outlets in your kitchen.

Electrical additions are one of those services where the details really count. Running a wire the wrong way, skipping a permit, using the wrong breaker size — these are the kinds of shortcuts that cause real problems down the road. We don’t take those shortcuts. Every addition we install is done to code, permitted where required, and tested before we leave.

Safety First

Every job follows current NEC code and is left cleaner than we found it.

Why Choose

Why Homeowners in Fort Mill Choose Us

Small jobs deserve the same attention as big ones. That’s how I’ve always looked at it. An outlet added sloppily or a circuit run without a permit is still a problem — just one that shows up later instead of right away.

When Upgrade Electric does an electrical addition at your home, it’s done right the first time. Written estimate upfront, permitted where required, tested at the end, and cleaned up before we leave.

What counts as an electrical addition?

Anything new being added to your home’s electrical system — outlets, circuits, ceiling fans, smart switches, dimmers, lighting circuits, EV prep wiring. If it wasn’t there before and you want it there now, that’s an addition.

It depends on the scope and your local requirements. Some additions do require permits, some don’t. We’ll tell you upfront what applies to your job and handle the paperwork if a permit is needed. You don’t have to figure that out yourself.

In most cases, yes. We’re experienced at fishing wire through existing walls with minimal damage. If any drywall work is needed, we’ll let you know before we start.

We’ll assess your panel first. If it has capacity and is safe to work with, we can add circuits. If it’s outdated or overloaded, we’ll be straight with you about that and talk through your options — including a panel upgrade if that’s what’s actually needed.
